Privacy Policy

The contact form. Your name, email address, and message are required. Company, role, website, and how you heard about us are optional. It all arrives in our email inbox and nowhere else.

Booking a call. The calendar on our contact page is provided by Cal.com. When you book, you give Cal.com your name, email, and chosen time, and it passes that to us.

Conference resources. A few pages tied to specific industry events have their own sign-up forms. Those collect your name and email and add you to our email list.

Our host keeps standard server logs: IP address, browser type, which pages were requested, and when. Every website has these. They are used to keep the site running and secure, not to build a profile of you.

• There is no analytics on this site. No Google Analytics, no advertising pixels, no tracking scripts of any kind.
• The site sets no cookies. That is why you were not asked to dismiss a cookie banner.
• Fonts are served from our own servers rather than fetched from a font company, so simply reading a page does not report your visit to anyone else.
• We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. We never have and we do not intend to.
• We do not use your information for advertising.

We set none. Two embedded tools may set their own if you interact with them: the Cal.com booking calendar on the contact page, and the sign-up forms on our conference pages. Those are governed by the policies of the companies that provide them.

These are companies we pay to provide a service. None of them have permission to use your information for their own marketing.

• Vercel hosts the site and keeps the server logs described above.
• Resend delivers contact form submissions to our inbox.
• Cal.com runs the booking calendar.
• LeadConnector runs our email list and the conference sign-up forms.
• Google Workspace hosts our email, which is where your message ends up.

If you sign up for something, you may hear from us occasionally. Every email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. Use it and we stop, or write to our contact form and we will take you off manually.

Filling in the contact form does not add you to any list. It sends us a message and nothing more.

Messages you send us stay in our email until you ask us to delete them. If you are on our email list, we keep your address until you unsubscribe. Server logs are held by our host on their own schedule and age out on their own.

Write to our contact form and ask for a copy of what we hold, a correction, or deletion. We will respond within 30 days. You do not need to give a reason and it costs nothing.

California residents have the right to know what is collected, to have it deleted or corrected, to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and not to be treated differently for exercising any of those rights. We do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of.

If you are in the UK or the European Economic Area, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your information, and to object to how we use it. We rely on your consent for marketing email, and on our legitimate interest in replying to people who contact us for everything else.

This site is meant for people running businesses. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

If this changes, the revised version appears on this page with a new date at the top. We will not quietly alter it and hope nobody notices.
